hamburg’s afk are back. three years after “another pair of eyes,” the quartet returns with four new tracks on a limited 7” - titled gift. that’s german for poison. make of that what you will.

the band has been at it since around 2014, and over the years they’ve developed a sound that’s entirely their own: fast and uncompromising hardcore punk, but with melodies that stick around long after the noise fades. the guitar distortion hits hard, the vocal effects are unmistakable, and the whole thing moves at a pace that doesn’t leave much room to breathe.

gift picks up right where they left off. four tracks that stay true to everything afk stands for - no detours, no reinvention. just the band doing what they do, and doing it well.
